Your access to and use of the course is conditional on your acceptance and compliance with the following:
Embodied Awareness On-Demand programs
You are purchasing one year access to the Embodied Awareness On-Demand Programs are for personal access only. passing multiple-choice quizzes and final Exam with a grade of 75%. Completion of these criteria earns a ‘Certificate of Completion’ from the Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences (CITIS). If you do not pass the course, you are welcome to take the course again by signing up and paying the course fee. No course refunds are available.
The Embodied Awareness Live-Experiential Seminars commitment to completing online work, direct work in class and outside of class with cohorts, providing and receiving personal support from cohorts, working with mentors – supervision and paying full tuition fees.
Workbooks are included in the course tuition fee. They are based on text from the On-demand courses and have workbook exercises that correspond to the Embodied Awareness: A Spiritually Directed Therapy Protocol for Recovery On-Demand Course. You agree to complete the workbook exercises and share your insights with class cohorts.
Requirements for Embodied Awareness Facilitator Certification Designation: Attending Live-Experiential Seminar and Completing and passing On-Demand courses with proof of Certificate of Completion. This includes: 1) attendance at 10 half-day live-stream training seminars – absent no more than 10% 2) working with course cohorts, 3) completing experiential homework assignments, and 4) Completing passing the On-Demand course modules and passing the multiple-choice quizzes and final Exam with a grade of 75%.
Completion of these criteria earns a ‘Certificate of Completion’ from the Canadian Institute for Transpersonal and Integrative Sciences (CITIS). If you do not pass the course, you are welcome to take the course again by signing up and paying the course fee. No course refunds are available.
Auditing
You may select to audit and take the online course(s) for no credit. Please note: auditors may by-pass exams and, in such case, would not receive a Certificate of Completion.
You may not audit the Experiential Seminar. It is possible to complete the Experiential Seminar without matriculating to the Facilitator Designation if you do not complete the On-Demand course work.
Professional Continuing Education
Professional continuing education credits (CECs) may be available depending on your local licensing board designated jurisdiction.
This Continuing Education certification meets requirements for State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs. Beth Hedva, Ph.D. (R.Psych., #3212, Alberta; CA-BBS MFT#18470), is an approved provider of Continuing Education (CEPA # 003933) by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and maintains responsibility for this program and its contents. You agree to investigate and satisfy yourself that Level 1 courses and course materials meet professional continuing education requirements within your specific jurisdiction and or licensing board.
Embodied Awareness (EA) Live-Experiential Seminar Program
The EA Experiential Seminar Program incorporates theory in form of experiential training. Participants will have completed ongoing experiential process and a minimum of 50 hours of supervised practicum working with cohorts; and individuals, and groups within the program.
Practicum hours are gained by applying what you have learned within your community, institution, or workplace.
To accomplish this,the program requires in person attendance in all livestream seminars and supervision sessions over the course of five weeks. WhatsApp, Zoom or other interactive group chat and peer support activities plus weekly live group video conference with faculty is included. The seminars will cover the Embodied Awareness Method in detail, and provide opportunities to experience and integrate the Method through the development and delivery of a customized 5-Step grass roots community program.
Use of any earned Certification carries with it responsibilities to become acquainted with, and work within one’s professional standards of practice, which may differ according to local, regional, or federal locations, and licensing boards.
What happens after you pay
Our secure payment processor is Stripe. You will receive a receipt for your records shortly after purchase and your credit card statement will say FINKLEMAN COMMUNICATIONS LTD. Receipts for payments made differently will be issued by email or post.

Refunds
As this is an instant digital access program, there is a no refunds policy whether you access the program materials or not.
Payment Schedule
By completing this purchase, you acknowledge and authorize us to charge your card accordingly.
Permission to Record Video
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and grant Finkleman Communications Ltd the right to record sessions, which in cases, might include your face, voice, appearance, statements, or information presented, for use in later training or in marketing materials without compensation to you or a later right to review such content.
License to content
You are receiving one license for personal viewing and implementation of the material in the program as an individual. Under no circumstances shall this agreement be construed to be a transfer of ownership of primary or derivative intellectual property of Finkleman Communications Ltd.
You are not permitted to share, reteach, or use these materials in whole or in part, even if it is done without compensation until completing Level 2 Practicum and Certification. You would be infringing if you share or use the material for any other purpose. Using the materials in this educational program is not the same as using the experience you have learned to use, and which we encourage you to use and share.
Licenses for commercial or non-commercial use of materials by others during this program are available. If others require access to materials, please let Dr. Hedva know in writing, addressed to info@integrativesciences.org, and you or they will be billed accordingly.
Grievances
In the event that a participant has a grievance, a complaint about the Program, including but not limited to complaints about the instructor, content of the course, facilities, and staff, the complaint shall be directed to Customer Service, who shall contact the complainant and attempt to resolve the issue directly with the complainant.
If a resolution satisfactory to the complainant cannot be reached, please contact Dr Beth Hedva directly. A summary of complaints, should there be any, are reported to the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and kept in a password protected file for four years.
Waiver of liability and Governing Law
This Agreement will be governed by Alberta provincial law, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. I understand and agree that I submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of the Alberta provincial courts and agree that any legal proceeding commenced shall take there. Prior to the filing of any suit, I agree to pursue resolution through conciliation, mediation, and/or arbitration using the International Association of Better Business Bureaus (BBB).
